From our very first show in 2007 to one of Wagga Wagga’s most loved community events, 2026 marks the 20th production of Wagga Wagga Takes 2!

What began as an idea that no one quite knew the future of has grown into an incredible local tradition filled with music, entertainment, community spirit and some seriously brave local celebrities stepping onto the stage - all for a great cause.

Over the years, Wagga Wagga Takes 2 has raised millions of dollars for local charities and community organisations, with every performance helping make a difference right here in our region.

Each year, 10 local celebrities take the plunge and step well outside their comfort zones, teaming up with talented local mentors to sing, perform and raise funds for a charity close to their heart.

Backing them every step of the way is our incredible live band, under the direction of Dave Wall, together with the talented dancers from Wagga Academy of Ballet, led by Leanne Nicol.

Across three unforgettable nights, audiences can expect big voices, brilliant performances, plenty of laughs, a few nerves and some truly memorable moments.

But at the heart of Wagga Wagga Takes 2 is something much bigger than the stage.

It’s about our community coming together to support local people, local organisations and causes that make a difference.
